Alto Peak in Ormoc was the original plan of Kalit2x Mountaineers before conquering Mighty Sialdang in Mindoro via Lantuyan Trail with its 2,586m elevation. Coming from different team from Cebu and Manila but with one goal. Actually this is my 3rd major climb in the Philippines. 1st - Mt. Talinis, 2nd - Mt. Mandalagan then 3rd - Mt. Halcon. Isn't something to be proud of?

Our body fuel before starting our day tomorrow for the first proper climb prepared by the Gabi's.

Meet our original harkor Mangyan guides from left: Omar, Roldan and porter Bensor.

Day 1 - To Dulangan River (1st Camp)

First water source.
Cold water? Not a problem. . This was the most abundant water source I've ever been in a trail before. You don't need to fill full your bottles to get to the next water source because a lot of rivers and other sources in it.

Beware: Leeches that would really love the heat of your blood.

Preparing for our dinner before getting dark.

Dulangan River Time Lapse

Some of us pitched their tent at the middle because there are already campers when we arrived. We also met different group from Cebu and other places since this was the climbing season of the year - summer. After the season, this will be close and will be open for climbers next year.

Lannie and Mike saved a small spot just to get near to us.

Day 2 - To Summit Camp

A wooden ladder before reaching the ridge.

A quick pose while trying to hold the wooden ladder.

 The REWARD:

The best reward at the summit for all our struggles.

Jed Salumag aka "Pamboy" naked pose.
 Cotton candy with different colors.

A satisfying pose of the famous Halcon's surfing board. We took the chance to took some photos no clearing or blessed by a nice sky for a forever story to tell.

Enjoying my swimming at the top. Forgot to bring some props.

Trying to do "Girlat's signature pose" despite of the cold wind.

Blessed by beautiful clearing which you can witness the islands around.

 A perfect sunset.

Day 3 - Summit to Jump Off

This is gonna be longest day for all of us. Starting our trek from 9:05-summit to jump off 11:30pm.

Crossing the grassland after Aplaya.

Starring - Archie Gabi

Adding here this pic as my souvenir with my trip for future reference.
