At the Jump-off: August 27, 2023 4:30-5:00 PM

A quick group-fie before hitting the unlimited up-hell, hahaha. .

Flexing poh nga pala sa mga bebe boys naming guide na walang sawang pag poprovide nang 65yrs Tanduay

sa tuwing may 3M-5M break. Look closely where they hid the bottle :D

Strart Trek:

Started to collide na ang mga ilong goys. Whats up! Whats up! Hahahha

First 3-5 mins break from the welcoming assault that you never expected.

The Best Part: Night Trek

Promise, don't under estimate the nature. If you're not preparing for this climb then better you do. Hindi porket night trek sya, walang init okay lng!
Warning: Do not drink during hike if you can't bare the aftermath na mananalaytay sa inyong katawan!
The DEVILS are always watching you guys !!

During the night trail, less water source that we encountered so better bring enough water that you'll need. We also met wild plants and insects that can barely seen in the community.

Time of Arrival at the Campsite: 8:30 to 9:00 PM, some of us arrived 8:30 pm and rest to 9:00 pm plus.

Wild insects and plants can be seen during the night trail. You just have to be quite not to disturb any of the other living creatures in the forest.

Dinner & Socials:

Naa pa diay dinner? Most of us were exhausted! So iya iya najud ni. Once arrived at the camp site, self service napo tayo for your hungry belly baby. We ate then of course tumagay nang kunti lng naman kay kapoy najud ni nga night trek. . Hahaha. Ang uban wala na nigawas sa tent after dinner so you know na why :D . After few talks then LIGHTS OFF. .

Day 2: Good Morning

August 28, 2022 - Sunday
There's a lot of stories to tell while enjoying the few hours lying on the crater of that inactive volcano. Some were just patiently waiting for the breakfast to be served, some were agonizing muscle pain, and some were just delighted with the precious moment before heading to the summit.

The Summit:

So before trying to inject anything on our stomach, aside from coffee, summit first thing in the morning.
From this angle, campsite can be seen from here. This was the first view deck with a reward during aiming the main peak. That if you were lucky to have this clearing. Also be careful in taking pictures considering that this already at the peak, most of the areas are roots (kung baga mga ugat2x na na natabunan nang lupa o yuta).

The exciting part going to the summit. Good thing pod diay kay naay rope haha, dle kaayo mangurog ang mga katuhoran.

We did great on the first view deck, unfortunately not a good timing to the summit but still thankful that we made it here safe, satisfied, contented and HAPPY!

The Breakfast:

After the mandatory group pictorials at the summit, straight ahead back to the campsite then let's dig in for breakfast!
If you're not a good cook, better bring instant canned foods that can be done 2-3 mins. Good for us our bebe boys na guides shared their Kinilaw na Pako. Masarap sya promise :D

While enjoying our meal, we met some foreign friends who wished to experience the summit but they didn't make it. Murag tungod jud ni sa ilaha polo mao wala ka summit lol . . Well they didn't expect na in ana ka yofak yadz!

Break Camp: The most tiring part of the climb! Haha!

Well, naabtan diay mig ulan during break camp. Ugh kapoya nag English oi, ikaw nasad bi hahha. Muna dugay2x man ug kaon ug panghipos (Pinaka kapoy sa tanan!)

The Side Trips:

1st: The Sunken Cemetery

Photos taken just above or at the shore since we didn't crossed by banca/boat. Gusto naming maligo but separate pala ang permit if you wanna dive in so we choose to took photos nlng and enjoyed the sunset instead. We proceed to Ardent hot & cold spring for a long hrs dip.

2nd: Ardent Spring

The resort closes 10pm so we have a plenty of time to do a recovery. Their entrance fee is 50 pesos only and that's until 10pm already. We took a dip right after dinner, maraming barbecue sa labas nang resort. Yun nga lng you have to wait if maraming tao nagpapaluto.

After splashing at the Ardent Spring, we get back to the inn where we stayed which was just across at the White Island Camiguin.

Day 3: Continuation of Side Trip

3rd: White Isalnd - The most exciting part! Padagat na this!

August 29, 2022 - Monday

No exact words I can caption to these mesmerizing beauty. Photos itself describes the beauty of this island in Mambajao Camiguin.

Di halatang enjoy na enjoy ang mga devils :D . .

Vacation Mode: ON - Yes, vacation leave mode on pa kami kasi bukas wala na kaming pera HAHAHAA. . Back to reality na after few photos.

Our hotel after our climb. Pabua's Cottages - just across White Island Camiguin, a few walk to the shore and just a one boat ride to White island.

EXPENSES:

Since it took me almost a year to get back to this draft on my blogspot I can't back track all the expenses but I do have a photo of some tickets. I'll just revise these photos once makita ko yung mga tickets ko na I'm pretty sure that I keep it in one of my bags lol.

CAMIGUIN ENTRY:

This was already 2022 but some part of the Philippines are still strict in terms of entering locan and foreign visitors. You still have to undergo below restrictions.
Well, all of us were fully vaccinated and fit to climb. Although we didn't use any face shield anymore but face mask is on to some part of Camiguin.
